Registered Massage Therapy

What to expect at first appointment? Your first appointment sets the base for further treatment to commence. Starting with an intake to pinpoint your goals for treatment and areas of discomfort. The first appointment can be longer in discussion then succeeding ones but this is to build a client-therapist relationship to help give results patients are looking for.

How often should I be coming in? This is completely suggestive on what your body can tolerate and the goals you are looking to achieve. Some people need once a month for maintenance and some need every week. Each person is different and each body is different. After the first massage, it's always beneficial to book a follow up 4 weeks later to better gauge how your body responded to treatment, without waiting too long to come back in.

What is massage therapy? RMT stands for Registered Massage Therapist, a regulated healthcare professional in Canada who uses hands-on techniques to treat pain, injuries, and promote wellness, distinct from spa therapists due to extensive training (e.g., 2200+ hours) in anatomy and pathology.
