My Story

I have been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2017, with a background in bodywork that began a few years earlier. Ever since I can remember I have always loved working with my hands. Crafts, Artwork and anything tactile always came naturally to me.
My journey to becoming an RMT is nothing short of bizarre.
I've always enjoyed working closely with people and supporting them in a way that offers relief, and meaningful fulfilment. Ironically this lead me to an art career where I was in no certain terms a full time 'clown'. I could twist balloons, face paint and dress up for kids birthdays like nobodies business. As much fun as that was, it didn't allow me to help people in the way that someone would feel more comfortable and at ease in their bodies.

So, I left the 'clown' industry and went into Aesthetics. I was able to help people but something was still missing from their experience that left me wanting more at the end of the day.
RMT was on my mind as a high school student and it wasn't until my 2nd year in Aesthetics that I started looking back into it. The program was brutal, I wasn't sure I was smart enough for it but, there was nothing to lose in trying.

And here I am now. 8+ years later and who knows how many smiles and laughter I have heard.
I am grateful to have persevered through the intensity of schooling and boards to end up in a career that has allowed me to work in a calm, welcoming environment where people actively enjoy coming to see me.

My massage treatments are client-centered. By this, I mean I work with the existing bodies own framework without rushing to force tissue into a position it's not ready for. Meeting clients where they are at the time they see me and working at a pace that feels supportive to them and the goals they wish to accomplish.

Majority of my practice is centered around helping those with concerns such as:
Back, neck, and shoulder discomfort, or pain.
Providing relief for headaches and migraines.
Supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD or other mental struggles.
Addressing shoulder injuries, subluxations, Frozen Shoulder or Clavicular strain.
Helping Chronic pain Conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Disk Degeneration.

Reducing physical effects of stress through nervous system regulation.

Each treatment include a blend of techniques such as (but not limited too): myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, joint mobilization, passive stretching, kneading and traction.

My goal is to support gentle, effective and sustainable tissue change while creating a space where clients feel safe, supported, heard and happy.
